Bethnichol Chloride 25 mg works by helping the bladder muscle to squeeze better, thereby improving your ability to urinate. Bethanevoid is used for the treatment of acute postoperative and postpartum nonobstructive (functional) urinary retention and for neurogenic atony of the urinary bladder with retention. Bethanevoid is used to treat bladder problems such as the inability to urinate or empty the bladder completely due to certain causes like surgery, bladder muscle problems.
