Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Fexofenadine is a second-generation antihistamine. It works by blocking the effects of histamine in the body, which is involved in allergic reactions. Fexofenadine is used to relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives). It comes in various forms, including tablets, capsules, and oral suspension.
Acebrophylline SR is a bronchodilator and mucolytic agent. It's used in the management of respiratory disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchitis. Acebrophylline helps to open up the air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. The “SR“ in acebrophylline SR stands for sustained release, meaning the medication is formulated to be released slowly over time, providing a prolonged effect. This can help in maintaining a consistent therapeutic effect with less frequent dosing.
