Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Montelukast is commonly used for the treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis, and exercise-induced bronchoconstriction. Doxofylline is a xanthine derivative and a bronchodilator. Doxofylline works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, which helps to improve breathing. It is used in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions characterized by bronchoconstriction and difficulty breathing.
