CARDULES ISMN SR 40 is a sustained-release formulation containing Isosorbide Mononitrate 40 mg, a nitrate-based compound widely used for the prevention and long-term treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain linked to coronary heart disease). The medication works by relaxing and dilating blood vessels, improving blood circulation to the heart. This reduces the heart’s workload and helps prevent episodes of chest pain, especially in patients with chronic stable angina.
